For over a year a friend and I have wasted time sending each other the weird and humorous images we come across while wasting time online when we should have been working. A few months ago we decided to set up this website because we figured other people might be interested in what amused us.
A couple of quick points:
- We always source images when we can. Unfortunately we find many of these images on LiveJournal and random message boards, so sourcing sometimes isn’t possible. Which leads me to this:
- We take down all images if the owner doesn’t want them here. Simple as that.

I originally heard of PhotoBasement from popurls, where aggregated links from some social sites made me curious. And so, I came over here, and was like, “OMG! It’s the MUSTARD GUY!” whose real name I should know, but keep forgetting. I know it’s just a few clicks away on Wikipedia, but I think I’ll just stay here and keep laughing at absurd and not-so-ridiculous-yet-VERY-funny stuff.
