Yeah, “peaced” as in “took a wheaze on the floor” or did he say, “Peace, out” before splitting?

“Peaced” is a way of saying “left in a hurry.” The etymology of the word is as follows. The youth of today have adopted certain aspects of Afro-American culture into their every day lives, particularly the vocabulary. In African American Vernacular English, also known as “Ebonics,” the word “peace” has taken on the function of a verb, meaning “to leave,” as in the sentence “Yo man, 6 is coming! I’m peacing this shit!” To most of you, this seems like a nonsense sentence, but in actuality, it translates to “Hey, the police are coming! I’m out of here!” As a side-note, “peace” may also be used in place of “Good-bye” as in the sentence “I got to pick up my girlfriend from work, peace y’all” I hope this has been enlightening for you all.
