That’s a scene from Rurouni Kenshin — That’s Kenshin’s distinctive pink kimono on the left, Yahiko in yellow and green, and the girl in black and white is Kaoru. The sumo wrestler in the foreground is a bit character, in this episode only, and is obviously wearing the traditional belt. (except it’s not visible in this frame.) He’s trying to protect the two girls from seeing the commotion our heros are involved int. Why, what did *you* think he was doing, huh?
I appreciate the anime expertise commenting and explaining this image. But all I see is a couple of Sumo wrestling belt sniffing kids. Oh, and a crowd of oblivious individuals checking out some guy’s real cool two by fours.

If I remember correctly…the sumo wrestler there is taking the two little girls to safety while the characters in the backdrop are fighting off thugs.
