Admittedly, as a PROUD McCain supporter, when I see such ignorance it makes me cringe. In all fairness there are douchebags on both sides of the aisle. Neither the left nor right corners the market on ignoramuses. It’s all in where your focus is.
The left, however, does seem to be much more vitriolic in their rhetoric than the right. Funny how the so-called party of “tolerance” is so intolerant.
BTW, I saw this sign while watching the RNC. I nearly blew vino out my nose. I just don’t understand how this guy could go through the trouble of making the sign and not put out the effort for correct spelling. Surely, someone there would have said, “DUDE! Spell Check!”
Indy Jane, if all the vitriol is coming from the left, why is *McCain* now dedicating nearly 100% of his ad budget to NEGATIVE ATTACK ADS while Obama’s camp is devoting less than 50% of their ad budget to them?
Jess, What do you call Obama’ s tasteless “attack” ad ridiculing McCain for lack of using email because supposedly he is too old? When he does use email on a limited basis due to the extensive injuries he sustained as a POW in Vietnam? He has assistants who also help with this issue. Shall we discriminate against those who have some disability? What about FDR? It’s a non-issue and completely absurd for the Obama campaign to have gone there.
Does Obama have a problem with “Old People”? So many other cultures astutely revere the elderly as wise and the most qualified leaders.
With that said…I do not consider that vitriol. Vitriol is NOT the same as negative. Look it up. I am not talking about campaign ads or the candidates addressing character issues, associations and so forth. That is maybe an ugly side of campaigning but necessary.
I am talking about the personal vitriolic attacks from the liberal media and individuals against anyone who does not agree with them or dares to go against their agenda. Go after the issues not the people.
Calm down.
Vitriolic = resembling a glassy metallic sulfate, according to my dictionary. Well, okay, if you say so.
As for “going against their agenda,” do you mean the egregious left-wing agenda of proper spelling?

“YOU GUYS THAT ALL THE FUN OUT OF THIS?”
…I’m not even sure what that’s supposed to mean so I’ll post my opinion thankyouverymuch.
Yes, it is true that many cultures see the elderly as the wisest and the most fit to run the country. But age is not enough, McCain needs to prove he is able to run the U.S.A. He failed, Obama won. A note to McCain: it takes more than a war hero to make a president. Being a prisoner of war is impressive, and I’m glad he made it back in one piece, but that doesn’t qualify him for presidency!
And to all those who only voted for Obama because they wanted a black president: SCREW YOU! Don’t vote at all if you’re not even going to put any thought into it! Had I been old enough, I would have voted for him too, but for the things he stands for and the promises he makes, NOT because of something as insignificant as his skin color.
Okay. I’m done with my rant.
