Do they put buttocks on their banknotes by way of consolation?

During the great depression in the late 1920s, the numbers on German money were frequently over-printed to keep up with its rapid loss of value, to little avail: Sometimes when people got their salaries in the evening, the next morning the money was hardly worth the paper it was printed on and they could use it for heating, or to wipe their butts, instead.
