I thought this clock looked interesting. I teach math to fourth and fifth graders and they would probably get a kick out of this. A few years ago I taught science to elementary school kids and had a periodic table clock. They loved it.

What’s with the “1″.. all of the other hours use 3 nines. It should be (9/9)*.9 recurring.

This is annoying me, all the root 9’s could be 3 OR -3 if they’re left like that… they should be modulus root 9!!

Nope, that symbol represents the principal square root, which is always positive
x = sqrt(9)
x = 3
x^2 = 9
x = +/-3
