They’re African Americans. So why is this name any more or less bizarre than anything else we’ve seen in the past 15 or 20 years?

Where does it say they’re African Americans? They’re just geeks anyway. Still, no one’s going to steal that kid’s lunch money. At least not while he has the awesome theme song.

Um, no, they’re probably not African-Americans–they’re anime geeks.

Sephiroth can also refer to the 10 attributes of God from Kabbalah. I’m sure that is what they are refering to, not some anime bs…

Not mayn of us would now that. he’s doomed to be associated with the fanboy magnet. it WOULD be funny if he knew someone named after FF7’s main character, and grew to ahte him xD.

Man, poor kid. Haha, I could see him playing FF7 as a teenager and “Mom!! I know you think this guy is hot, but did you have to name me after the character that is COMPLETELY PSYCHO?!”
…I think that would be my reaction, anyway.

At least they didn’t go with common names. If I ever have kids, I’m going to name my daughter Lucrecia, but call her Lucy, and if she ever asks about her name I’ll just say I found it pretty. Same goes for a son, I’ll call him Leon after Leon S. Kennedy and tell him I just liked the name.
P.S. Does anyone here know Robin Williams named his daughter Zelda after the princess from the games, and now as an adult she’s a hardcore gamer?
