   What does Stalin have to do with malaria? He had policies that allowed Russians to get healthcare. From Wikipedia: “Stalin’s policies granted the Soviet people universal access to healthcare and education, effectively creating the first generation free from the fear of typhus, cholera, and malaria.”

   You clearly didn’t read /enough/ of that Wikipedia article.
   Stalin also killed millions of his own people, and caused millions more to die by relocating them to places such as charming Siberia, and because of his economic/agricultural policies.
