It’s not shopped . . .they were putting the sign up . . . there are other sites with this picture in which you can see the ladder below the sign and the workers lifting the next letters
I can tell, from being a graphic designer, that this is not “shopped.”
-Just wondering what “pixels you are refering to anon, since there are a good hundred thousand pixels in that image.
They must have been just putting it up, great find.

uhhm, I’d have to agree with anon here, my personal analysis is that it has been shopped. The pixels are glaringly obvious. I too have seen quite a few shops in my time.

The reflections AND the pixels. Wrong. And the shops, but mostly the pixels.
Yeah, the reflections are all wrong. Definitely photoshopped.

For the record, this is NOT Photoshopped. I don’t know what pixels these todgers are talking about, but unless my eyes were “shopped” when I saw this IN PERSON in Leicester Square in London, it’s real. It seems that everyones’ first reaction nowadays to something out of the ordinary is “shopped”.

yeah, the shadows are close but just a little bit off. for a graphic designer steve, you should have noticed this. just look at the pixels
i dont really think it matters whether or not it was shopped, its just the fact that a massive cock is on a building somewhere, either truthfully or digitally
on a side note, i work at a theater, and that is what happened to us, the people putting that thing together put it up backwards, so the only thing there for a while was cock…made me chuckle

I must say, the other anons have it right — it IS clever to quote old jokes, even if they weren’t very funny to begin with.

July 11th, 2008 2:04 pm
I can tell, from being a graphic designer, that this is defintely “shopped.” the low resolution or photo is not because of the poorness of the camera, it is a method of covering up the pixels, I know of this method from being a graphic designer and having seen quite a few shoops in my time

a shoop eh? well, those are quite rare, having only been in a TLC song in the early 00’s. you must be a shoop watcher, is that like a bird watcher?
oh, Anon, who logs their photoshop hours? you arent a pilot, asshat.
final verdict from, yes, ANOTHER GD, not shopped ( or shooped)
I find it funny that someone asked for the xkcd link, and randall munroe (or at least someone pretending to be) posted basically the exact line from the comic in an earlier comment.

They do that here all the time. I live in a town called Hancock, and they’re constantly stealing the letters off town and school signs. Not that I didn’t enjoy seeing it say “Welcome to a cock” once. It gets tiring over time though.
