    Epic Fail!

  3. Jeremy on June 20th, 2008 8:59 am

    HAHAHAHA THIS IS GREAT

  4. Earl on June 20th, 2008 4:01 pm

In my case, it’s the ladies above average superhero. *wink*

  5. anon on June 20th, 2008 9:24 pm

looks shopped. i can tell from some of the pixels and having seen quite a few shops in my time

  6. Nicole on June 21st, 2008 1:13 pm

It’s not shopped . . .they were putting the sign up . . . there are other sites with this picture in which you can see the ladder below the sign and the workers lifting the next letters

  7. Pelagian on June 21st, 2008 1:19 pm

In the future, we will all be famous for fifteen inches - DJP

  8. steve on June 21st, 2008 9:29 pm

I can tell, from being a graphic designer, that this is not “shopped.”
-Just wondering what “pixels you are refering to anon, since there are a good hundred thousand pixels in that image.

They must have been just putting it up, great find.

  9. anon on June 22nd, 2008 10:38 am

uhhm, I’d have to agree with anon here, my personal analysis is that it has been shopped. The pixels are glaringly obvious. I too have seen quite a few shops in my time.

  10. anon 2.0 on June 23rd, 2008 6:51 am

Yeah. I agree with the anons. The reflections are all wrong ;)

  11. anon 2.0.1 on June 23rd, 2008 4:39 pm

The reflections AND the pixels. Wrong. And the shops, but mostly the pixels.

  12. Randall Munroe on June 23rd, 2008 6:36 pm

Yeah, the reflections are all wrong. Definitely photoshopped.

  13. Eyewitness on June 23rd, 2008 7:52 pm

For the record, this is NOT Photoshopped. I don’t know what pixels these todgers are talking about, but unless my eyes were “shopped” when I saw this IN PERSON in Leicester Square in London, it’s real. It seems that everyones’ first reaction nowadays to something out of the ordinary is “shopped”.

  14. mhm on June 23rd, 2008 10:24 pm

yeah, the shadows are close but just a little bit off. for a graphic designer steve, you should have noticed this. just look at the pixels

  15. word on June 24th, 2008 6:34 am

i dont really think it matters whether or not it was shopped, its just the fact that a massive cock is on a building somewhere, either truthfully or digitally

on a side note, i work at a theater, and that is what happened to us, the people putting that thing together put it up backwards, so the only thing there for a while was cock…made me chuckle

  16. JimBob on June 24th, 2008 3:26 pm

    Not Photoshopped.

  17. Anon on June 24th, 2008 8:34 pm

I too have to agree with the other Anons… I have over 9000 hours of photoshopping experience and you can tell by the pixels it is most definitely shopped.

  18. Anon on June 25th, 2008 11:20 am

I must say, the other anons have it right — it IS clever to quote old jokes, even if they weren’t very funny to begin with.

  19. Anon on June 25th, 2008 3:02 pm

I have over 120,222,456 hours of photoshopping experience and I think it is real.

  20. felix on June 27th, 2008 1:04 pm

its real quit whining about it

  21. Schemilix on July 2nd, 2008 2:00 pm

Stop taking the shop’ people seriously! They’re joking! XD

  22. Niv on July 4th, 2008 12:22 pm

    Anyone have the XKCD link?

  23. xxxxxxxx on July 11th, 2008 2:04 pm

I can tell, from being a graphic designer, that this is defintely “shopped.” the low resolution or photo is not because of the poorness of the camera, it is a method of covering up the pixels, I know of this method from being a graphic designer and having seen quite a few shoops in my time

  24. twrexx on July 22nd, 2008 11:15 am

a shoop eh? well, those are quite rare, having only been in a TLC song in the early 00’s. you must be a shoop watcher, is that like a bird watcher?

oh, Anon, who logs their photoshop hours? you arent a pilot, asshat.

final verdict from, yes, ANOTHER GD, not shopped ( or shooped)

  25. Somebody on July 22nd, 2008 6:44 pm

    http://xkcd.com/331/

    There you go Niv.

  26. observant on July 24th, 2008 10:05 am

I find it funny that someone asked for the xkcd link, and randall munroe (or at least someone pretending to be) posted basically the exact line from the comic in an earlier comment.

  27. /b/-tard on August 17th, 2008 3:51 pm

its shopped look at those gaping pixels!

  28. Yaoumei on August 23rd, 2008 2:11 am

They do that here all the time. I live in a town called Hancock, and they’re constantly stealing the letters off town and school signs. Not that I didn’t enjoy seeing it say “Welcome to a cock” once. It gets tiring over time though.

  29. Anon on September 13th, 2008 2:09 am

Yea, i can tell from the pixels, its totally shopped, nice try, but i’ve seen some shops in my time.

  30. DaDOME on October 2nd, 2008 10:37 pm

there’s superheroes and then there’s will smith’s cock

  31. god on October 13th, 2008 3:22 am

I don’t care how many shops you’ve seen in your time its not shopped. the end

  32. Man In White on October 19th, 2008 3:12 am

Hey there I came to take all those loony shopped Anon to the mental home where they belong. Gee, you guys sure get a lot of wacko’s and graphic designers here don’t ya?
