It is if it’s funny and everyone around to hear the joke is of the same race and or ethnicity! :D

  2. ad on April 11th, 2008 10:03 pm

She’s using chopsticks. Either the message is that all asian people use chopsticks, or this ad is also promoting multiculturalism.

  3. Ken on April 11th, 2008 10:08 pm

Is that before of after you put them in the concentration camps?

  4. Infogleaner on April 11th, 2008 10:10 pm

Why were white people laughing and joking in this picture?

Is this to promote the stereotype that only white people are racist?

Maybe some day you’ll realize that posters like this are wrong, too…

  5. Edward on April 11th, 2008 10:22 pm

Of course it is. I’m still waiting for people to realise it applies when it is against whites too though.

  6. BB on April 11th, 2008 10:35 pm

the woman the idiot is trying to imitate is f-ing hot!

  7. RWW on April 11th, 2008 10:35 pm

    “Racism is always unacceptable”

…says the poster that depicts an Asian woman eating a bowl of rice with chopsticks.

  8. Justin on April 11th, 2008 10:55 pm

    She’s hot!

  9. Richie on April 11th, 2008 10:56 pm

It is if it’s funny and you’re not overly sensitive to racial humor.

  10. asian pride on April 11th, 2008 11:01 pm

white? no, your color is red. what you people refer to as yellow is actually white. she is white. the two inbred bastards behind her are red.

  11. Martin on April 11th, 2008 11:44 pm

People shouldn’t be racist. Racism is totally gay.

  12. Michael on April 12th, 2008 12:29 am

The black haired girl is really a tranny and the reflector vest dude is making fun of her eye makeup. The blonde is in love with reflector dude because he’s the clown of the office.

The words are shopped on to the scene.

  13. Knute on April 12th, 2008 12:38 am

    Wow, I didn’t know that Vincent D’Onofrio was a racist…

  14. fxbx on April 12th, 2008 1:59 am

Hey look at their shirts, those two women shop at the same store, how could they be mean-spirited?

  15. jjacksonRIAB on April 12th, 2008 2:36 am

“Mind if I stick my chopstick in your noodle bowl?”.

Oh wait, that’s sexual harassment. Which would she prefer?

  16. Milander on April 12th, 2008 4:09 am

My son has reached the age where he can kind of understand /see this issue and he just doesn’t get it at all. He is half hungarian, a quarter english and a quarter welsh but because he is all white he doesn’t get any flak from kids who are picking on the half chinese half hungarian kids in school here. The lovely thing is that as he is racially mixed himself he sees that it is wrong to pick on those kids who are more obviously racially mixed and he stands up to the kids picking on them - is it right for him to do that? I don’t know. It might be better if those kids stood up for themselves.

Of course, the fact that he has been going to wrestling classes for the past 4 years (he’s 10 years old btw) does help a bit.

Either way he is doinghis bit to fight racism :-)

oh yeah, the blonde looks like white trash (lol) with her adams apple and all, the bloke is the typical fat american - I have a shit job and love it - type, the chinese (korean?) girl is smoking hot.

Is that racism too? I think yes… ah well! We can’t all be perfect….

  17. lala on April 12th, 2008 4:22 am

    @Infogleaner

    The man is red :D.

  18. lollerkeet on April 12th, 2008 5:39 am

    They all look stoned.

  19. Raoule on April 12th, 2008 9:57 am

I’d tap that asian ass. She’s hot :)

  20. Phil on April 12th, 2008 10:52 am

“Hey my advertising modeling career is really taking off! I got offered the part of “racist” on a poster. I’m going to be famous!”

  21. Ford MF on April 12th, 2008 11:02 am

If they were really serious about attacking anti-Asian prejudice, this poster would be set in a Chinese food takeout in a black neighborhood.

  22. holly on April 12th, 2008 12:54 pm

it looks like they’re all wearing prison uniforms…but i don’t know what that guy is wearing! fashion faux pas! ugh!

  23. stefanynina on April 12th, 2008 6:03 pm

    You are missing the point!
Since racism is always unacceptable they are talking about sexual harassment! Because there is no excuse!
like OMG! i have to hold my eyeball’s in cus that chick’s ass is hot! Even though she is ignoring me while she eats her delicious lunch and reads vogue. Meanwhile little miss blonde who feels insecure because she isn’t nearly as hot has to laugh really really loud to get mr perv’s attention.

  24. Earl on April 13th, 2008 6:33 pm

I’m White, and I find that picture totally offensive.

It’s stereotyping all Whites as RACISTS!

Actually, I don’t really care. I just wanted to know how some members of those whiny minority organizations roll.

  25. Tigga76 on April 15th, 2008 7:04 am

If we would all learn to be comfortable with ourselves then nothing anyone else thought or had to say about us would even matter unless it keeps you out of advancement, promotion, equality and so on. Peoples opinions are their own and there is no simple cure for ignorance or bigotry. Or only hope is that future generations are born sans the “a-hole” gene and learn that we all need each other even if we don’t understand each other.

  26. Tx on April 15th, 2008 2:16 pm

I thought he was trying to use ESP to see through her clothes. You know, like we should be equally dirty with girls of all races… and the blond girl is so happy because he has just expanded to new races…

  27. Chruz on April 15th, 2008 7:39 pm

The poster is from the Australian Postal company which is big, and very likely to have a shitload of uneducated racists in it. since the mid-ninties theres been asian immigration paranoia and all the usual integration issues and insensitive comments such as “why dont you speak proper?” and gems like “why do you all look the same with those slitty eyes”. The poster is old, if it were current, it’d have a coy looking woman all burqa clad.

  28. Therealjoe on April 28th, 2008 8:30 am

Looks to me he is using mind control so she eats some noodles but its affecting other people aswell so the blonde chick is trying her hardest not to eat the noodles and shes bending over and hes like zmmmmmmmmmm with his mind powers.

  29. 1duck on April 29th, 2008 4:18 am

Milander : hungarians are cuacasian, welsh are caucasian and english are caucasian… your child is not mix race.

Unless you consider slavs another race at which point the half hungarian, half chinese kids are not mixed race… because asia starts when warsaw ends as they say in poland.

  30. Hazel on April 29th, 2008 1:59 pm

Racism this and racism that - fuck racism, everyone needs to understand that people will always have predjudices against one another - you can’t stamp it out. The PC brigade make it worse and so do posters like this. Everyone needs to chill out and stop walking around with a chip on their shoulder because they think people are being racist to them. These days you can’t say you don’t like a certain black person because it means your racist - regardless of the fact you’d hate them if they were asian, caucasian or whatever, I’m sick of hearing about it all. Some people get picked on for being ginger, some for being fat and some because they have an illness - why all the hype about racism, it’s all the same.

  31. Anusmonkey on June 14th, 2008 1:43 am

I agree with Hazel, at the bottom of the page.
Stop trying to bring awareness to racism, because it’s not going to go away.
The more we’re aware of it, the more EVERYONE feels uncomfortable around other races, meaning it causes what people see as racism, which could elavate into fighting with people, causing another problem in the “genre” of racism.
Leave it the fuck alone and we’ll be so much happier.

  32. Jim on June 17th, 2008 9:09 pm

    I love the irony.

  33. ma on August 13th, 2008 11:27 am

The white girl looks like Nicole Sullivan.

  34. SAG on December 17th, 2008 4:34 am

    Irony… It’s always acceptable.

I never realized stereotypes could be so hot!

  35. Acrobat on January 11th, 2009 7:48 am

This poster is likely from when Pauline Hanson was on her anti-asian kick, and well Australia Post is a massive company and have likely had a lot of trouble. The picture isn’t stereotyping because Australia does get many Asian immigrants and there have been huge issues and most Asian families do stick to traditional meals, I know from my friends here. Plus chopsticks are the bomb.

Also, its hard to be a “Dumb American hick” if the poster is from Australia.

  36. magyar on March 29th, 2009 3:03 pm

Actually, Hungarians are originally from Central Asia (descendents of the Huns), and many Hungarians still look very eastern (black hair, brown eyes, dark skin). Not all do, but there still are many. Hungarians are not Slavs nor are they Germans.
