   I live in “Lame County” which has quite low property taxes relative to the rest of the country and the anti-tax crowd won’t let things come to parity.

   To make things worse, the timber industry is trying to use this economic hardship as an excuse for a 7-fold increase in clearcutting of the public’s old growth forests.
